A memorable days calendar is more than a birthday calendar. This art calendar is intended for your valuable memories. Write them all down, beautiful or sad, they are part of your life. But of course you can also use it 'just' as a birthday calendar. Or hang it on the wall because of the beautiful iPad art.

I would like to say something about the 'image creators' or 'image generators' that are currently popping up like mushrooms on the internet. They are apps that independently draw, paint, or create pictures with a 3D effect. They do this on the basis of sentences that people type in. These sentences are also called "prompts".

The photo shows a sneak peek of a series of new art prints. These four together form one work of art. It's fairly minimalistic iPad art. And it's also quite abstract, but it's called 'Whispers'. Do you see why?

Sometimes something wonderful happens. Then I make a painting of something I've never seen before.

I made 3 new oil paintings. A subdued, almost abstract mountain landscape (40x50cm) in various shades of golden yellow and umber, almost monochrome. And an almost abstract, somewhat ethereal polder landscape (40x60cm). And the third is a small, more expressive painting of withered tulips (24x30cm).

Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 February there was a successful exhibition in Utrecht of my recent work: monoprints of iPad art and paintings in oil on canvas. Thanks to all visitors. The new monoprints turned out to be a hit. And also the oil paintings were appreciated. I sold 7 artworks. They will be collected by their new owners. Or I take a monoprint to a nearby living custumer:

Recognize that feeling? That you don't just walk into an art shop or gallery? That you feel a little intimidated? That you think: this is not for me. I don't understand art. And it's always so expensive!

I can't wait for the delivery service to bring my packages this week. Packages containing monoprints of my iPad art. For my exhibition on February 4 and 5 in Utrecht.

Whoever says iPad art says David Hockney. He became famous for it.

A monoprint is a one-time printed work of art. Traditionally printed manually, but things change.

I've been making digital art with Procreate on iPad for over a year now. And I want to offer that work on my website. That's quite a job.
