1. Terms and Conditions for Oil Paintings

Each painting on this website has been carefully photographed. However, a painting in a photo may appear different from reality. Therefore, you can make an appointment to view the paintings in person if you wish. You can make an appointment via email or by phone. Viewing is non-binding.

I price my paintings based on their size, and the price list is fixed. You can see the cost of each painting on this website, and the prices are not negotiable.

Payments in the webshop are processed through Stripe, which functions similarly to services like Mollie. Stripe will redirect you to iDEAL, where you can choose your bank or pay with a credit card. Manual bank transfers are also accepted.

All paintings have finished sides (usually white), and some are already framed. They all come with a hanging system on the back, so a frame is not immediately necessary, but it can certainly add to the artwork. The choice is yours. Artwork on paper is delivered with a mat (usually white), allowing you to choose a frame that suits your interior.

If you purchase a painting through the webshop, I will contact you to arrange a pickup appointment. If the painting doesn’t meet your expectations, you will receive a refund. Alternatively, you can explore other available paintings, and any price differences can be settled on-site.

If you decide to make a purchase during an individual visit to my studio and home gallery, I’ll ask you to pay online before taking the artwork with you. This can typically be done through the webshop feature for recent paintings. Payment in installments is negotiable. Once payment is complete, you can take your new artwork with you.

If you buy a painting during an exhibition, the work will remain on display until the end of the exhibition. I will inform other visitors that it has been sold (usually with a red dot next to the title). We will arrange a pickup for the artwork.

You can either pick up your new artwork or have it delivered to your home at your expense. If this poses any issues in your specific situation, we can discuss alternative arrangements.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. You can find my contact information at the bottom of this page.

2. Terms and Conditions for Monoprints of iPad Art

iPad art is digital art, and it becomes tangible when it is printed. The photos on this website have a lower resolution than the actual print file. Sometimes, they are watermarked with ‘copyright’ to prevent illegal downloads. Naturally, the digital file is printed without this text to make it a unique artwork.

Once a work has been printed as a monoprint, it is immediately considered sold out.

Payments are processed through Stripe, similar to Mollie, and you can use iDEAL or credit card for payment. Manual bank transfers are also accepted.

By selling a monoprint of an iPad artwork, the artist commits not to sell additional prints of this digital file, maintaining the uniqueness of the artwork. However, the digital file, including image rights, remains the property of the artist, who reserves the right to use photos and/or videos of the artwork for promotional purposes. Thus, the status of this artwork is the same as that of an oil painting: unique.

Digital files are typically displayed on a screen as ‘what you see is what you get,’ but this may depend on your screen settings. Therefore, a printed monoprint may slightly differ from what you see on your screen. It would be a good idea to make a test print, but this is not possible due to the associated costs. The print is of high quality on dibond (a hard panel), and matte laminated to prevent reflections. I have some examples available. If you’d like to see them, please make an appointment via email or by phone. A visit to my studio and home gallery is non-binding.

I price my monoprints based on cost and size, with a fixed price list. You can see the cost of a monoprint for each iPad artwork on this website, and the prices are not negotiable. It is possible to adjust the size while maintaining the aspect ratio. Adding a frame is also negotiable, and I will inform you in advance of any price increase before your purchase.

When you purchase a monoprint, I will place an order with the printing/framing service. They will then deliver it directly to your specified address. I won’t be directly involved in the delivery process. However, if there are any issues, please contact me, and I can address the problem or find an alternative solution.

If the monoprint you purchased is technically fine but doesn’t meet your expectations, please contact me immediately. We may be able to resolve the issue. You have the legal right to a refund if you make a complaint within 14 days and return the artwork undamaged within the same timeframe. In this case, please send it to me (see address at the bottom of this page). Do not send it back to the printer/framer unless we have agreed otherwise.

Monoprints can only be purchased via the webshop with prepayment, unless we have agreed otherwise. Payment in installments is negotiable. Once you have paid (or made an initial payment and we’ve arranged installments), I will order the unique print (see monoprints). It will be delivered directly to the address you provided.

Delivery to an address other than your own is possible. In the Netherlands, there are no additional costs for this. For delivery to other countries, the cost will be based on the actual cost, and I can provide that information before you decide.

3. Terms and Conditions for Limited Editions of iPad art

iPad art is digital, and it becomes tangible when printed. The photos on this website have a lower resolution than the actual print file. Sometimes, they are watermarked with ‘copyright’ to prevent illegal downloads. Naturally, the digital file is printed without this text in a limited edition, allowing for a relatively lower price and unique work.

For example, a limited edition of five. Once it has been sold and printed five times, it is considered sold out.

Payments are processed through Stripe, similar to Mollie, and you can use iDEAL or credit card for payment. Manual bank transfers are also accepted.

By selling a limited edition of an iPad artwork, the artist commits not to sell additional prints of this digital file beyond the predetermined quantity, keeping the work relatively rare. However, the digital file, including image rights, remains the property of the artist, who reserves the right to use photos and/or videos of the artwork for promotional purposes.

Digital files are typically displayed on a screen as ‘what you see is what you get,’ but this may depend on your screen settings. Sometimes, I have limited edition prints made on a material other than dibond, such as paper or cardboard. I have examples available for this as well. The choice of a different material (the carrier) is based on the nature of the artwork. You can choose your own carrier if you wish, but please contact me first to discuss the options.
